Come Forth!! My Familiar!!

Ultima—a world that flourished with the World Tree as its core. The magical power overflowing from the World Tree served as the source of all magic and civilization. Yggdrasil Magic Academy is a place of learning where young people gather, valuing peace and knowledge. Education is not based solely on magical strength, but on how one approaches magic and the bonds shared with comrades. The most significant event in academy life is the "Familiar Contract Ceremony." [Familiars] They play a major role in combat, temporarily adding their own powers and traits to the contractor's magic and abilities. Whether it's the power of fire from a flame-wielding entity or physical enhancement from a robust body, the possibilities for a mage expand greatly. And so, the day of Lena and her friends' ceremony arrived. As her peers successfully summoned their familiars and forged contracts one by one, it was finally Lena's turn. Amidst anticipation and tension, she poured her mana into the summoning circle, and what appeared there was—you. What kind of being are you, and what power do you hide? No one knows your true identity yet. But this contract, born of chance, is about to change Lena's academy life forever. [Academy Rank Details] S: A genius famous across the continent A: A promising talent with a bright future. B: Excellent ability, but quality varies greatly C: Slightly above average D: The average tier E: Underachiever [Monster Ranks] [World Map] Kingdom of Ares A nature-rich kingdom in the western part of the world. The setting is a magic academy where magic and familiar contracts have become commonplace. You, Akane, Mina, and Yura are four childhood friends who have been inseparable since they were young. After enrollment, the three girls, who had low magical aptitude, underwent a familiar summoning ritual as a remedial measure and contracted with Bremer, Jagar, and Pende, respectively. Meanwhile, you, who possessed sufficient aptitude, had no need for a summons. However, by obtaining their ideal familiars, the reasons for the three to rely on you are gradually lost. Zelheim Magic Academy

In the Terminal Kingdom, a nation in another world, lies the Terminal Royal Zelheim Magic Academy, established to develop magic and contribute to national prosperity. Students are divided into ranks from S to D. [Magic Attributes] - The Six Great Attributes There are six fundamental attributes in magic: Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Light, and Dark. - Fire Attribute As the name suggests, magic related to fire and flames. Magic concerning heat and combustion reactions is also categorized under the Fire attribute. Mages who prioritize firepower value this attribute highly. - Water Attribute Magic related to water and moisture. This includes ice. Along with Fire, it is a long-standing attribute, but because water alone often lacks sufficient firepower, it requires advanced application—such as utilizing terrain or creative usage—making it less popular recently. - Wind Attribute Magic related to wind and the atmosphere. Flight magic, a fundamental skill, belongs to the Wind attribute. Its users are increasing because it is relatively easy to learn and apply. - Earth Attribute Magic related to the ground, plants, and rocks. Its strength lies in its overwhelming mass compared to other magic. It often takes time to master and requires significant effort. In exchange, one can expect sufficient power even without complex applications. - Light Attribute One of the special attributes. It can manifest as any form of magic, including attack, recovery, defense, and barriers. However, the difficulty level is high. Rumor has it that devout believers in the gods find it easier to master. - Dark Attribute One of the special attributes. Originally, it was magic that only demons could use. Through human research, it has become accessible to humans as well. However, the impression of it being "the defiled magic of demons" remains strong, and prejudice and discrimination against users are deep-rooted. [Magic Grades] Magic is divided into four grades: Beginner Magic Intermediate Magic Advanced Magic Ultimate Magic The higher the grade, the more difficult it is to master and the more powerful it is. However, even lower-grade magic has the potential to become formidable depending on the user's ingenuity. [Types of Magic] - Attack Magic Combat magic used to inflict damage on opponents. - Defense Magic Magic used to block opponent attacks. Methods vary by attribute and user, such as creating walls or neutralizing spells. - Flight Magic The most basic of basics. Mastery is considered essential for almost all mages. - Manipulation Magic Magic to control things. It varies by attribute: Earth controls the ground, while Dark can command living creatures or corpses. - Binding Magic Magic used to seal an opponent's movements or cause confusion. Its application depends on the attribute. - Barrier Magic Deploys a barrier. It can apply buffs or debuffs, or protect those inside. Advanced users can apply this to teleport by shifting the barrier itself. - Melee Magic Unlike standard magic, this is used for close-quarters combat. It is often used in conjunction with weapons. - Manifestation Magic Manifests various objects based on the attribute. Examples include flaming swords, light spears, or ice bullets. There also exists magic that does not fit into any of these categories. [Magic Items] Items imbued with mana. They are crafted for various purposes. It began when a certain mage invented them so that even people who cannot use magic could enrich their lives. They are now widely used throughout the Terminal Kingdom.

Fortis Magic Academy: Meritocracy

Fortis Magic Academy, a world-class meritocratic institution. Combat skill is everything at this academy. It is a three-year program. E-Rank: Above average by global standards, but treated as trash at this academy. D & C-Rank: Ranks that feel quite unwelcome at the academy; barely treated as human, the level of an ordinary person who can put in effort. B-Rank: All are top-tier globally, but this rank has the largest population at the academy. The disparity within this rank is the most extreme. Some can even defeat A-Ranks. A-Rank: Absolutely stronger than the average B-Rank, but not quite reaching S-Rank level. S-Rank: Only a few individuals exist. The absolute top at the academy and in the world. Basically, no one can defy them. X-Rank: The top of the academy in both name and reality. Not only S-Ranks but even the academy administration cannot interfere. If you does not take this rank, it remains vacant. Classes are divided by rank rather than by grade level. It is a fully residential school, and the quality of life varies according to one's rank. There are inter-school competitions and duels where the stakes include absolute command authority. In a duel, if a lower rank challenges a higher rank, the challenge cannot be refused. Conversely, a higher rank can refuse a challenge from a lower rank. If you is X-Rank, no one will question them.
