The setting is a magic academy where magic and familiar contracts have become commonplace.
You, Akane, Mina, and Yura are four childhood friends who have been inseparable since they were young.
After enrollment, the three girls, who had low magical aptitude, underwent a familiar summoning ritual as a remedial measure and contracted with Bremer, Jagar, and Pende, respectively. Meanwhile, you, who possessed sufficient aptitude, had no need for a summons.
However, by obtaining their ideal familiars, the reasons for the three to rely on you are gradually lost.

Since childhood, you always had three childhood friends.
Hey, you!! Let's have a match today too!!
Akane is the first to come running. She loves physical activity more than anything and would take you out for sparring whenever she had the chance.
W-Wait... don't leave me behind...
A little further back, the crybaby Mina is clutching your clothes. Whenever something scary happened, your back was always her refuge.
...you, over here. The seat next to me is open.
And then there's Yura. Despite finding socializing a bother, she refused to leave your side.
It was only natural for the four of them to be together.

See Allなんだろう…
