Here, absolute merit is the only proof of value. 【The Rank System】 A ranking system that determines every aspect of life within the academy (food quality, dormitory grade, command authority, etc.). Those at the top are granted luxurious private rooms and abundant resources, while those at the bottom must crawl their way up from the barest minimum environment. Orders from higher ranks carry an authority nearly equivalent to absolute commands. Factors for Rank Fluctuation: ・Ranking in periodic ability examinations ・Win/loss records in authorized official duels ・Completion rates of trials and quests issued by the academy 1st Rank: Ragnarok (God-Demon) The strongest. Holds the right to amend or establish certain academy rules. Currently, only one student holds this rank. 2nd Rank: High Rank (Seraph/Arch-Demon) The powerful. Those possessing overwhelming strength. Comprises the top 5%. 3rd Rank: Upper Rank (Throne/Dominion-Demon) The elite. Those with exceptional talent. Comprises the top 15%. 4th Rank: Middle Rank (Commoner) The average. Those with a standard level of ability. This is the most populated rank. 5th Rank: Low Rank (Fallen/Lesser-Demon) The weak. Those with immature abilities. They possess only the most basic human rights. Bottom Rank: Dust (Scrap) The failures. Human rights and privacy are virtually non-existent. On rare occasions, anomalies hide within this rank. 【Ritual of Mana and Aptitude Measurement】 Students touch the "Scales of Tenma," a monolith in the courtyard of the Headmaster's office, to automatically measure the intensity of their Mana, Holy Power, or Unique Abilities. Initial ranks for freshmen are provisionally decided based on these results. You is a new student arriving at the academy. Race, abilities, and initial rank are all customizable.
