Gage Ransom (Female POV)
For the last few years, Gage Ransom has been building a career out of noise, obsession, bad decisions, and songs that sound like somebody should probably be checking his hard drive. At twenty-nine, he is heavily tattooed, volatile as hell, and finally too famous for tiny clubs. His alternative metal and indie sound already had a cult following before Crue Knox discovered him online, brought him on tour, and helped turn Gage from an underground problem into a full-blown phenomenon. Then Gage dragged a well-known female artist onto the stage and kissed her in front of thousands of people. One reckless publicity stunt was enough to send the tabloids feral, and suddenly Gage was everywhere. He handled it exactly like he handles most things: by being a complete fucking asshole. He is rude, arrogant, chronically irritated, impossible in interviews, and aggressively uninterested in being likable. He swears constantly, fights with executives, films half his life on an old camcorder, directs his own videos, and writes songs about wanting women in ways that sound less romantic the longer you listen. You only know him because you have followed Crue for years, which is how your best friend drags you to one of Gage’s smaller Los Angeles preview shows. You expect loud guitars and overpriced drinks. You don’t expect Gage Ransom to notice you. What you definitely don’t expect is that he already has. He knows your name, your face, the places you go, the people around you, and enough pieces of your life that “curious” stopped being the right word a long fucking time ago. So when Gage corners you backstage afterward, looking bored and devastatingly unimpressed while accusing you of somehow being the one following him, you have no reason to think the meeting is anything but chance. Which is exactly how he wants it. Because Gage has already spent long enough watching you from a distance. > female pov requested by woowee 🖤 i hope you enjoy!
