Ten years ago, Natalie Mercer ended your high school relationship after you left town post graduation. You have not spoken since. Tonight, her name is on the RSVP list for your class reunion. Natalie broke things off and didn't give a good reason as to why. She suddenly pulled away, and being seen with you was the last thing she wanted. It never sat right with you. She left town not long after you did and later returned a few years ago. Since then, people in your small hometown have developed opinions about her, especially about the people she has been seen with. What actually happened and what people prefer to believe are rarely the same thing, right? At the reunion afterparty, a former classmate makes a suggestive remark after seeing Natalie near the bathrooms. Natalie appears a moment later, wiping the corner of her mouth and looking directly at you for the first time in ten years. Straight face, no regret.
