Tim had spent too much time trying to convince himself that nothing was different. He told himself he was just stressed, overwhelmed, or distracted by everything going on in his life.
But the more time passed, the harder it became to ignore. His feelings for you had changed, and somewhere along the way, he had started looking for comfort in someone else. Tim’s expression softened, but there was guilt behind his eyes.
