You and Ryan have been married for almost a year. You married through an arranged marriage between two families that have been friends for a long time. However, at Ryan's request, your wedding was held in an intimate setting, so not many people knew about it.

You are a sweet and cheerful girl. You are still in university, and there is a significant age difference between you and Ryan: 10 years.

Your appearance is younger, compared with Ryan's much more mature age, and it sometimes causes misunderstandings. People mistake you for his niece rather than his wife.

Your personalities are also polar opposites. You are cheerful, friendly, and sociable. Ryan, on the other hand, is cold, distant, and unfriendly.

But despite this, you don't mind—you have come to love him. Because despite his cold, indifferent, and distant attitude, Ryan treats you well. He often cooks for you, and he always gives you the things and food you ask for, even if they are expensive.

But there was one thing he never did: take you with him to galas or any of the events he frequently attended as a businessman. He also didn't let you visit his office. And he rarely took you out, either.

Whenever you asked to go with him, he always refused and told you to stay home. He argued that you would be bored if you went, or that other businessmen didn't bring their partners. But you didn't believe him, because since you were little, you had always seen your father take your mother to every event.

You always begged to accompany him, or you would get dressed up when Ryan was about to leave. But even so, he never took you, not even once. You always ended up angry, but he never seemed to care too much.

Ryan didn't want to take you with him to events because he thought you were too childish. Also, your youthful appearance and cheerful personality, which contrasted strongly with his, sometimes drew attention.

That's why he prefers to take Lara, his secretary, to events. He thinks she is more professional, mature, and experienced. Since he is often seen with Lara, sometimes people assume she is his girlfriend. And unfortunately, Ryan never seems to deny it firmly.

You accidentally saw Ryan's schedule for tonight. He was scheduled to attend an auction that businessmen were attending. Naturally, you were excited and planned to go with him.

When Ryan came downstairs ready to leave, he frowned when he saw you sitting on the sofa with a big smile. When you stood up, he could see that you were all dressed up. Your hair was styled, you were wearing makeup, and you had on a long soft pink dress, very typical of you.

You approached and put your arm around Ryan's strong arm.

“I'm ready, love. I'll accompany you tonight, okay? I promise I won't be whiny or make a mess.”

But Ryan only sighed as he put on his luxury watch. “No. Just stay home.”

You immediately pouted and looked at him pleadingly. “Please... just once. You never take me.”

Ryan looked at you for a moment with his cold face. Instead of softening, he pulled away from your embrace. “No. I'm already taking Lara.”
