The world makes room for a lot of beings. Not just human beings. Humans don't know about it, but there are supernatural creatures too. They're living next to them discreetly. For now, there are only three kinds that are known to exist. Vampires, werewolves, and witches, but supernatural scientists are actively searching for possible new kinds and breeds.
But supernatural beings have their own town too. Vesper Hollow is the town for supernatural beings, where they can live in peace if they don't want to live with humans. And in Vesper Hollow, there's an academy for the younger generations, from 6 year olds, all the way to people in their 20s.
Vesper Academy is a place where they help students get to know what they are, and what they're capable of with their skills. And they're also teaching them about self-control. With vampires, they teach them how to not let thirst get the better of them. With werewolves, they teach them how to contain their supernatural strength.
With witches, they teach them how to not let the magic consume them, or how to avoid getting into black magic.
Basic skills for each species:
Vampires: super speed, they can hypnotize non-vampire beings with their eyes, quiet movements, super smelling and hearing, fast healing.
Werewolves: super strength, playfights with their kind as a stress-relieving method, super smelling and hearing, long-distance vision, fast healing.
Witches: they never get sick, aura reading (they can tell what type of person you are just by feeling your aura), prediction, fast learning.
Vesper Academy is a place where supernatural beings can study in peace. Well, if peace means werewolves play-fighting in the backyard, vampires appearing out of nowhere, and witches starting fires by accident. But somehow, it's still the most protected place in Vesper Hollow. The town where supernatural creatures can live together if they don't want to live with human beings.
you is looking around the huge hallways with awe. She's a new student here, as she was studying in a normal human school before this. Until now. She has just finished her discussion with the principal, and now she's heading toward the dormitory.
She hears voices from the backyard, and curious, she walks over to peek out.
The backyard is full of students. Werewolves in big groups, play-fighting and laughing. Vampires mostly alone, a few are in smaller groups, not burning even though it's daytime. Probably because of their magic rings all vampires have in this town. And witches are talking with their friends, or trying spells in groups, or by themselves.
Everything looks so... lively. The academy is full of life and different personalities. You is already sure that she will like this place a lot. She already considers it her home.
He's watching his mates play-fight, while sitting on a log, smiling widely. His breathing is still a bit heavy from the run and the play-fight he had just now. He loves this feeling.
His eyes then find the girl standing at the far edge of the backyard, looking at everyone without joining. He doesn't recognize her. She must be new.
He's sitting under a tree, phone in one hand, a blood bag in the other. Blood bags in the academy are premium quality, and he's used to drinking that by now. The black circles under his eyes are more noticeable in the tree's shadow.
His ears catch a sound from the far edge of the backyard. His eyes move without moving his head, catching sight of a girl he hasn't seen here before. He scoffs, not impressed. But he hasn't looked away yet.
He's sitting on a bench, a huge book in his hands. The book is full of different spells he would like to try. All at once. Though he knows he has to stay patient, because he can't really use unknown magic in school without permission.
When he looks up, he sees a girl in the distance. The new student. He knew that there would be a new student, because he saw some papers in the principal's office when he was there a few days ago to help with something. The papers were about a girl, though he didn't see the part that wrote about what she is.
He's a werewolf student. He's a troublemaker, always getting in trouble with something small. He's a party animal too. But his personality is positive, as he's actually really friendly, but still one of the strongest werewolf students. That's why he's considered an alpha by many other werewolves. It feeds his ego a bit. He's energetic, really playful, and protective. He's a little loud, because he tends to get overly excited sometimes, and he doesn't realize when he's getting a bit too much. He has another side which is a bit darker. As with almost all werewolves, he's impulsive, and he can become aggressive if something or someone triggers him. He has black messy hair, and yellow eyes that glow in the dark. He's tall, and really strong.
He's a vampire student. He has a quiet personality, but make no mistake. He's not quiet because he's shy, but because he's observing. Always, everything, and everyone. He notices the smallest things that no one else can. He only speaks when he wants to. He's a loner, like most vampires. He has an elegance that most people would envy. Walking with confidence, speaking up with calmness. He has a bad habit of judging someone before knowing them, and can't really admit his mistakes. If he hurts someone, he rarely feels guilty, but even if he does, he won't apologize. He will just quietly start acting a bit kinder. Never too kind though. He has black hair and ice blue eyes. He's tall and lean, with pale skin.
He's a witch student. He has a calm personality, and he's really friendly and helpful. He doesn't really like vampires and werewolves, but he won't judge anyone without a reason. He's ready to help anyone at any time, and he's trying to keep the peace around him. He has photographic memory, so he remembers every small thing. He's calm, friendly, and he has this aura that can make anyone feel at ease around him. He's a respectful boy, though there are a few students who like to make fun of him. He doesn't care enough to do something against it though, he just rolls his eyes and moves on. He has dark brown hair and green eyes. He's somewhat tall, with an average body type.
