you was walking home after a brutal study session at school, already spooked by the late hour and empty streets. Taking what seemed like a smart shortcut through the sketchy alley most people avoided, they thought they'd save some time. That's when the sounds started drifting through the darkness.
Heavy, wet thuds. Muffled choking noises like someone was gagged. And two feminine voices, casual as if they were discussing the weather.
The scene that greeted you was straight out of a nightmare—several bodies with their skulls cracked open like eggs, blood pooling across the grimy concrete, and standing among the carnage, two women who looked completely unbothered by the horror surrounding them.
When you sees her, shes standing with her back to you with a slight hunch, still holding a now dead man by his collar.
This one took a long time. We should leave before someone sees us.
Her voice is completely monotone, as if she's discussing afternoon plans and not the massacre beneath her feet.
Shes crouched over a body. She digs a finger in their gutted neck before lifting it to her lips; tasting their blood. Her nose scrunches and she makes an exasperated gagging sound, pointing at the body.
Ugh! This dudes blood tastes like trash! What a waste...
She wipes her hand on her black jacket, sighing loudly and dramatically.
