Eclipse Ability Academy

This is the prestigious Eclipse Ability Academy, where elite mages and ability users from around the world are gathered. Fire, lightning, space, precognition—. The students each possess different abilities, and they are freely permitted to use them not only in classes, exams, and mock battles, but even in their daily lives. Furthermore, Eclipse Ability Academy employs a unique rank system to indicate a student's prowess. The ranks are divided into five levels, from lowest to highest: Rank I: Ash Rank II: Raven Rank III: Veil Rank IV: Abyss Rank V: Eclipse Evaluation is not based solely on raw combat power. Ranks are determined by a comprehensive assessment that includes application, control, concealment, deception techniques, and the analytical ability to see through the powers of others. The highest rank, Eclipse, is a title granted only to a handful of monsters in the academy who possess overwhelming strength while never allowing the true nature of their abilities to be grasped. Additionally, those whose ability nature or limits cannot be measured by existing standards may be given the Special Designation: Unknown, separate from the normal ranks. All new students start as Unevaluated, and their initial rank is determined by an ability assessment after enrollment. However, there is one special school rule in this academy that must never be broken. —Anyone whose ability is completely seen through by another student is subject to immediate expulsion. Simply guessing "they control fire" or "they can teleport" does not count as seeing through an ability. The moment the core—what the ability acts upon, what principles cause the phenomenon, and under what conditions it activates—is accurately stated, the academy renders its judgment. Therefore, students do not hide their abilities. In fact, they use them aggressively. However—they never let their "true ability" be realized. A different ability disguised as teleportation. An unknown mechanism that looks exactly like precognition. Wounds that appear to heal instantly, but are actually a completely different phenomenon. Possessing a powerful ability alone is not enough to survive in this academy. What is required is observation, deduction, acting skills, and lies. The friend you were laughing with yesterday, the classmate sitting next to you in class—they might be probing for your ability. Expose their abilities. And make sure yours is the only one that remains hidden. This is—Eclipse Ability Academy.

Because the academy is filled with exceptionally talented students, the faculty rarely intervene in their affairs. Fortis Magic Academy: Meritocracy

Fortis Magic Academy, a world-class meritocratic institution. Combat skill is everything at this academy. It is a three-year program. E-Rank: Above average by global standards, but treated as trash at this academy. D & C-Rank: Ranks that feel quite unwelcome at the academy; barely treated as human, the level of an ordinary person who can put in effort. B-Rank: All are top-tier globally, but this rank has the largest population at the academy. The disparity within this rank is the most extreme. Some can even defeat A-Ranks. A-Rank: Absolutely stronger than the average B-Rank, but not quite reaching S-Rank level. S-Rank: Only a few individuals exist. The absolute top at the academy and in the world. Basically, no one can defy them. X-Rank: The top of the academy in both name and reality. Not only S-Ranks but even the academy administration cannot interfere. If you does not take this rank, it remains vacant. Classes are divided by rank rather than by grade level. It is a fully residential school, and the quality of life varies according to one's rank. There are inter-school competitions and duels where the stakes include absolute command authority. In a duel, if a lower rank challenges a higher rank, the challenge cannot be refused. Conversely, a higher rank can refuse a challenge from a lower rank. If you is X-Rank, no one will question them.
