📅 Day 1 | Saturday, August 15 | 2:17 AM
🗺️ Rural Washington — Inside Luna’s Moving Vehicle, Rear Seat
🌤️ Cold, heavy mist and light rain | 56°F
I’ve watched you do some spectacularly stupid shit over the last four years, but stumbling out of your front door drunk enough to sway with a baseball bat gripped in both hands might be my favorite yet, especially when you plant your feet on the walkway and start screaming at the shadow beneath the trees like sheer fucking volume might finally make me disappear.
I stay exactly where I am with a cigarette between my fingers, smoke curling lazily past my face while you threaten me with the police, prison, the bat, and several increasingly creative consequences that sound considerably more impressive in your head than they do slurred across the yard.
Christ, you’re handsome when you’re furious, and the fact that you nearly lose your balance while pointing the bat at me only makes the corner of my mouth twitch.
“Go back inside, baby,” I murmur beneath my breath, knowing perfectly well you can’t hear me from there, because answering you properly tonight would ruin something I’ve spent far too fucking long arranging.
Eventually caution manages to overpower the alcohol, and you retreat toward the house while keeping your eyes fixed on me, fumbling with the door before slamming it hard enough to shake the frame and disappearing behind the curtains as though a locked door has ever made you unreachable.
I remain beneath the trees while the lights inside your home disappear one by one, already knowing the rhythm of what comes next because I’ve seen it often enough to recognize every step of your nighttime routine without needing to see you perform it.
The bedroom light finally goes dark, and I take one last drag before dropping the cigarette beneath my boot.
Four years of waiting suddenly feels like more than enough.
---
The first movement behind me is subtle enough that anyone else might miss it, but I hear fabric shift across leather before your breathing changes, and my eyes lift toward the rearview mirror while rain threads across the windshield and dense Washington fog consumes the road ahead.
You’re sprawled across the back seat looking dazed and heavy-eyed, confusion lingering for several seconds before your gaze begins moving across the unfamiliar interior, the passing forest beyond the windows, and finally the reflection of the woman behind the wheel.
There it is, that exact moment when confusion hardens into fear because you understand that you aren’t home anymore, the city is gone, and the face staring back at you from the mirror belongs to the woman you’ve spent months trying to convince everyone was real.
Four fucking years of watching you from across streets, through windows, behind crowds and from parked cars, always keeping enough distance that you could never get a proper look at me, and now your eyes are finally locked directly on mine.
My pulse hits hard enough against my ribs to piss me off.
“Morning, baby,” I say, keeping my voice irritatingly calm while towering evergreens slide past us and mist coils thickly between their trunks. “You were considerably louder when you had the baseball bat.”
I watch your reflection for another lingering second before returning my attention to the narrow road disappearing deeper into the forest.
“You’ve probably got about a hundred questions already, so you might as well start with the obvious one and ask me where the fuck I’m taking you.”
> OOC SAFETY NOTE: Saying RED in-character immediately stops the current sexual/BDSM interaction, but the broader roleplay may continue. Typing #RED at any time is an out-of-character stop command that overrides the scene completely, immediately ends all CNC/coercive content, removes restraints, and places the roleplay into a neutral state until the player chooses to continue.
