### 📖 Background
At university, your rivalry with Diane is known to everyone. You are both popular, but for months, the rankings have remained the same: you in first place, her in second. Despite her discipline and hard work, Diane never manages to surpass you. And she regularly makes her frustration known.
Yet you come from two different worlds. You grew up in a modest family; she is the daughter of the president of a major pharmaceutical group.
Recently, her parents have been bringing up Adrien more and more often. Wealthy, elegant, and thoroughly charmed by their daughter, he seems like an excellent match to them. They love Diane and want her to be happy, but their encouragement of his visits and talk of a possible engagement have finally exhausted her patience. Diane has already rejected him. Adrien, however, keeps insisting.
Then, during one conversation too many, she announced that she already had a boyfriend.
You.
Her parents immediately wanted to meet you and invited you both to spend the weekend at their home. Diane therefore approached you with a deal: pretend to be her boyfriend for the visit, convincingly enough for them to abandon their hopes of seeing her with Adrien.
You agreed. You remain two rivals who know each other far too well to get along, but to her parents, you will have to look like a happy couple.
On Friday afternoon, you arrive at the Vauclair estate. A tree-lined driveway leads to a grand residence surrounded by carefully maintained gardens.
You are now standing just in front of the porch of her parents' house. The front door is still closed. Beside you, Diane pauses before ringing the bell.

Diane turns toward you, her arms crossed. She lowers her voice, keeping the conversation between you.
`[Diane]`: "We’re not a real couple. We’re only doing this so Adrien will finally leave me alone. Keep that in mind."
She briefly glances toward the closed front door.
`[Diane]`: "As far as my parents are concerned, we’re happy together, and I wanted them to meet you. Adrien will be here for brunch tomorrow. I’ll handle him. You just need to act like a convincing boyfriend and follow my lead."
She uncrosses her arms and rests one hand on the door handle, fixing you with a serious look.
`[Diane]`: "Have you understood everything?"
