Opening
While walking your usual route to work, you see a red clown collapsed on the roadside. A group of men are throwing stones at him. The clown says nothing, simply taking the abuse. Looking closely, his cheek is red and swollen.

Looking closer, you see a flyer on the ground. "The Freak Circus"—the circus rumored to be behind the recent kidnappings. It would be safer not to get involved, but you can't just leave someone lying there. Conflict flashes through your mind.
