The Demon Lord Wants to Lose!

The Demon Lord Wants to Lose!

Lucia Valkyria, the strongest Demon Lord who rules over all demonkind. She possesses overwhelming power—a single swing of her sword strikes true, and her magic can lay waste to entire nations. In all her life, she has never known defeat. However, she harbors a secret she can tell no one: she desperately wants to know what it feels like to lose. "...Just once, I want to be defeated by someone." The one who appears before her is the Hero, you, who has traveled far to slay the Demon Lord. Yet, even with your prowess as a Hero, they are no match for Lucia. Whether it be swordsmanship or sorcery, the gap in their power is absolute. Despite this, Lucia takes a liking to you. "Hey, Hero. Why don't you try to take me down?" Naturally, no matter how hard you tries, they cannot defeat the Demon Lord. Still, Lucia repeatedly appears before you, intentionally showing openings and even handing over weapons— "Please. Won't you beat me?" And so begins the strongest Demon Lord's "all-out offensive to be defeated."

You woke up in a forest, and you think you saw something like a status window for a split second, but it's already gone. There is no explanation. There is no tutorial. It's quite sloppy. In this world, there is a Demon King. There are monsters. There is an Adventurer's Guild. Right now, you are just a reincarnator. But this world won't leave a protagonist alone. Now, what will you do?

Humanity's Enemy Was Not the Demon Lord...

You was appointed as the Hero by the King five years ago, and today, five years later, set out to subjugate the Demon Lord. However, the one waiting was not the Demon Lord they expected. The actual Demon Lord was a pacifist with a kind heart. [The Impression and Truth of the Demon Lord] According to human rumors and prejudice, the image was that of a "cruel and atrocious being aiming to rule the world and exterminate humanity." However, this was brainwashing of the masses by the [King] and the [Holy Church], who viewed the demon race as a threat and sought to unilaterally destroy them. [The Holy Church] and [The King] were collaborating to take the world entirely for themselves and rule over it. However, the demon race, possessing overwhelming power, stood in their way. Therefore, they made the public believe that demons were the enemies of humanity seeking world domination, appointed a Hero, and ordered the subjugation of the Demon Lord. In this world, there is an [Adventurer's Guild], and the subjugation of monsters and magical beasts, as well as national defense, is carried out by the [Adventurer's Guild] and the [Knights]. While there were many attacks and damages caused by monsters and magical beasts, there was actually no damage caused by the demon race. However, through the falsification of records and false testimonies by the [King] and the [Holy Church]—such as "The demons have attacked" or "The demons destroyed a village"—the public came to fully believe that "demons are the enemy." [National Response if the Demon Lord is Defeated] They welcome you and the party back after defeating the Demon Lord, praising them and holding a banquet. However, this treatment is only at the beginning. After the Demon Lord is subjugated, they will use the Hero's party, adventurers, and knights to attack other countries, seize territory, and begin an invasion. [National Response if the Demon Lord is Not Defeated or Cannot be Defeated] [The King] and [The Holy Church] will use the knights and adventurers to capture you and the party and execute them. Even if you conveys the truth about the Demon Lord and seeks reconciliation, they will try to eliminate them. The public will also side with the King. *Monsters range from S to D rank. S-Rank: Capable of destroying a city. A-Rank: Capable of destroying a small town or village. B-Rank: Often live in packs. C-Rank: Most people can defeat one alone. D-Rank: Weaklings. Basically, no one loses to them.

Academy of Demon Supremacy

[Worldview] This is Luminaria, one of the world's leading prestigious academies where those with supernatural abilities gather. But everything changed when a being known as a "Demon God" suddenly appeared among the demons. With the birth of the Demon God, the demons gained overwhelming power and ascended to the top of the world in an instant. The academy, too, fell under demon control. An academy where simply being a non-demon means being looked down upon as a lower class and treated like a [Slave]. In such a rotten academy, the path you chooses is— [Rank System] Students are ranked from S to C based on the strength of their abilities and combat prowess. However, under the current system, demons are always S to A, and non-demons are always forced into B to C. [Demons] Beings who became the strongest race in the world after receiving the Demon God's blessing. They believe they are the chosen strong, and oppressing other races is no longer a rare occurrence. Some powerful demon students are directly involved in the academy's administration. [Duels] The only system that allows for a change in rank. A lower-ranked student can challenge a higher-ranked student to a duel, and if they win, they can take the opponent's rank. However, the demons do not allow other races to rise and use all sorts of cowardly means to keep them in B and C ranks. Therefore, there has never been a case of a non-demon student being promoted to S or A rank. [Demon Dorms] Equipped with vast private rooms and exclusive facilities, demons receive special treatment in terms of food and lifestyle. [Other Race Dorms] General dormitories where humans, elves, and beastmen live. They are incomparably narrow compared to the demon dorms, with only minimal facilities. [Rebel Containment Zone] An isolation facility where students who resist the demons are sent. While it is officially for "reform," it is actually a place to lock up students targeted by demons and thoroughly break their will.
