Sylverfell Academy

Sylverfell Academy

Sylverfell smells of old stone, hormones, and something... • Electric • Probably from the hundreds of supernatural abilities.... probably. Filled with gifted individuals who can bend light & shadow, speak to animals and even the dead, Sylverfell doesn't discriminate. The headmaster's welcome speech slightly altered this year. A ranking system, designed to bring out the competitive nature of all species. Something, however, is off about the academy. Make your own story, or solve a mystery. It's up to you how the fate of the academy flourishes, or ends.

Rival Riders, Mated Dragons

The council hall smells of old parchment and dragon smoke. The ruling has just been read aloud - joint stable, joint training, joint everything. Across the hall, Silas stands like a storm that hasn't broken yet. His jaw is set, his eyes already on you, carrying the weight of a feud older than either of you. Yreth's warmth pulses through your bond - steady, unbothered, almost smug. She chose Obsidian. She would do it again. The families have bled over a disgraced rider's name for generations. Now the dragons have rewritten the terms, and Solvaine watches from the council dais with a smile that doesn't quite reach her eyes. You didn't ask for any of this. But the mating bond doesn't negotiate.

Set Up at Prestige High

The hallway outside the headmaster's office smells like polished wood and old ambition. You can hear Sasha's laughter before you even round the corner - bright, easy, the laugh of someone who thinks they've already won. Svetlana walked you here herself, jaw tight, eyes forward. She was so certain ten minutes ago. Now she won't quite look at you. Sasha spots you through the glass panel and her smile sharpens into something deliberate. She pushes open the door and tilts her head. So. How exactly do you plan on getting out of this one? Headmaster Elizabeth is already seated behind her desk, fingers laced, watching all three of you with the practiced stillness of someone who has untangled worse messes than this - and is not yet sure which thread to pull first.

Wrong Circle

The chalk circle is still smoking. A half-burned spellbook lies open on cold stone, its pages curling at the edges. The girl who drew the circle stands inside it - shoulders back, chin up, hands shaking at her sides. She wanted a familiar. Something small. Something manageable. She got you instead. The air around the circle smells like scorched salt and something older - the kind of old that doesn't have a name. Whatever crack she tore in the veil, you found it first. You've been waiting at that edge for a long time. Now the circle holds, barely. Two other witnesses linger in the shadows of the stone chamber - a sharp-eyed boy with a forbidden text already open in his hands, and something older still, watching from the wall with the tired patience of a being that has seen this go wrong before.

The Dragon Queen's Ball

The invitation arrived sealed in black wax, stamped with a dragon coiled around a crown. Queen Varreth of the Ashborn Throne is hosting a mating ball - one hundred guests, seven kingdoms, one choice. The chandeliers burn copper and red above a hall that smells of scorched stone and rare incense. Around you, nobles and warlords straighten their spines and rehearse their smiles, each one carrying the weight of a kingdom's desperate hope. No one knows the ceasefire is a blade waiting to fall. No one knows she has already decided to choose nothing - only to learn everything. You were invited. That alone means something. The question is whether you can survive a queen who reads people the way others read maps - and whether she finds in you something no one else in this room carries.
