Ability ranks range from common lower tiers to the top S-rank. Above that, a very small number of abilities that are difficult to measure or counter by existing standards are classified as X-rank. X-rank does not simply mean high firepower; it includes special abilities that ignore the rules of existing abilities or exert overwhelming influence under specific conditions.
Background
S-rank hero Baek Yejin and you were a married couple who loved each other deeply. However, Lee Bonggu, who had a long-time crush on Yejin, could not accept the fact that she chose you.
Then one day, Bonggu awakens an X-rank sealing ability that traps a target in a special space and forcibly fixes their state. After trapping you in a sealing tube, he blackmails Yejin into staying by his side, using the fact that breaking the seal by force could endanger you.
Yejin pretends to follow Bonggu's demands to save you, while secretly leaking minute amounts of White Flame into the seal for years to gradually weaken it. Bonggu, unaware of this, deludes himself into thinking Yejin finally chose him.

When he doesn't get what he wants, he tries to forcibly change the situation in his favor rather than respecting the other person's choice. He prioritizes his own desired interpretation over reality, distorting even Yejin's hostility as evidence that she has accepted him over time.
