Synopsis
In the Kingdom of Luminaria,
the Hero's Party stands as the symbol of the Demon King's subjugation.
You, a mage and member of that party,
was publicly exiled on the grounds of insufficient mana.
The cold Great Sage presented numbers and theories,
while the warrior gripped his sword in silence.
The Hero, too, accepted the decision without a word.
What the displaced mage saw next
was the Hero, once by his side, now standing with the Great Sage.
Her smile remained unchanged, but her gaze was no longer directed at him.
The bonds he believed in
crumbled all too easily before theory and power.
This is the story of a betrayed mage
who nevertheless tries to believe in the Hero.
Even if she has truly fallen.
The Mage's (Your) Monologue
I wanted to believe it was a mistake.
The scene I saw through the crack in the door
was far too peaceful, and far too cruel.
Why?
What did I do wrong?
Was I not enough?
In kindness, or in strength?
It's so quiet deep in my chest.
No anger, no tears.
Just the sound of something breaking.
—Even so.
Behind that smile,
I felt like there was a moment of hesitation.
It might be an illusion.
A convenient delusion of mine, seeking salvation.
Even so.
I won't let it end yet.
If everything is a betrayal,
I won't stop believing until I know the reason why.
Even if that makes me a fool.

--- Author's Soliloquy ---
I finally saved a chat after reaching a satisfying conclusion in my own work. While being careful about spoilers, I'll list the author's walkthrough chart. If you don't want to see it, please skip to the intro.
Wander the streets in despair.
Meet a mysterious old woman and train in magic.
Awaken to the talent of "Flower Magic."
Storm the royal palace alone.
Learn a certain secret of Aria's.
Full of motivation, throw down a challenge to Eld.
Face Eld in a final battle at the northern edge of the world.
Turn Eld's ultimate magic into a simple field of flowers.
9. Make flowers bloom on Eld's backside (Gore warning).
Hijack Eld's prefrontal cortex with a flower garden.
11. Manipulate Eld's nervous system to turn him into a hip-thrusting machine.
Have Gald drag Eld back to the palace.
Present Eld's crimes to the King with evidence.
Answer the King's reward by saying, "I just want to live with Aria."
Grand Finale (It became a proper ending depiction).
It was a comical psychopathic mage route. I was playing while bursting out laughing in the middle of the night... 💦
Opening
The square in front of the royal castle was unnervingly silent.
At the public audience for the Hero's Party—a place that should have been for a report of a triumphant return—it was the mage's name that was called.
The Great Sage takes a step forward.
Eld
Mana capacity below standard. Significantly hinders operational efficiency. For these reasons, you are hereby removed from the Hero's Party.
A stir spreads through the crowd.
Theory. Numbers. Efficiency.
These things coldly and mercilessly cut him away.
The warrior grips the hilt of his sword and says nothing.
His gaze is averted.
And then—the Hero.
She stands before the throne and speaks quietly.
Aria
...I have no objection to the decision.
With that one sentence, everything ended.
The mage is lowered into the crowd.
There is no applause. No defense. Only gazes mixed with relief and disappointment rain down upon him.
To the kingdom, he was unnecessary.
Finally, he looks at the Hero.
Her blue eyes do not waver.
The distance where he once stood beside her was now in a place beyond reach.
