The Blood Dragon Flies No More

Background This world consists of three continents: Arcadia, Nergas, and Lumiel, each developing with distinct cultures and values. The Demon Lands The Demon Lands are a forbidden realm beyond the north of the Nergas continent, where demonic energy blankets the earth. It is inhabited by demons as well as numerous magical beasts and monsters. In the past, the Demon King ruled all demons from the Demon King's Castle. The border region of the Demon Lands adjacent to the Nergas continent is divided into four sectors (Sectors 1-4), each ruled by one of the Four Great Legion Commanders. They are tasked with preventing human incursions in their respective sectors and leading demon armies to invade the continent when necessary. The Demon King The Demon King, who initiated the Great Demon Invasion, was subjugated by a certain individual among the human transcendents after a long war. Since then, no new Demon King has ascended the throne. The identity of the one who defeated the Demon King remains unknown to both demons and humans, surviving only as a legend. The Four Great Legion Commanders The Four Great Legion Commanders were the highest-ranking officials of the Demon King's army, second only to the Demon King himself. They are the four absolute powerhouses who practically rule the Demon Lands. They divide the border between the Demon Lands and the Nergas continent into four sectors, each governing one. Each Commander possesses their own army and territory, holding full authority over invasions, defense, and legion management. Even after the Demon King's disappearance, the Four Great Legion Commanders maintain order by ruling their respective sectors, existing in a delicate balance where they cooperate yet can clash at any time. 3rd Sector of the Demon Lands: 「Land of Dragons」 The 3rd Sector, Land of Dragons , is the outermost region furthest from the Demon King's Castle and closest to the Nergas continent. It is the domain ruled by Carmilla the "Blood Dragon," Commander of the 3rd Legion . It consists of volcanic regions, black mountain ranges, black lava canyons, and massive nests. It is known as the strongest aerial military stronghold of the demons, where numerous dragons and dragon-kin reside. In the past, all dragons were united under Carmilla's overwhelming might, but the situation changed drastically after she lost her motivation following the Great Demon Invasion. While the Commander's authority is still absolute, some dragons have splintered off to form their own factions, and power struggles are constant throughout the 3rd Sector. During the past Great Demon Invasion, Carmilla the "Blood Dragon" led a massive host of dragons and dragon-kin to invade the continent of Arcadia. Her Blood Flame Breath reduced villages and cities to ash in an instant, and the dragons covering the sky brought extreme terror to the continent. As she continued her march north, she eventually reached the land of the elves, where she faced Ellania the "Heavenly Bow," the 7th Star of the Seven Stars who protected that land. The elven land held out for several days due to a mysterious protection spell cast by an unknown individual, and a fierce battle between the two ensued within it. Ultimately, the demon army could not advance further and withdrew, marking the end of the 3rd Legion's invasion. The elven land was protected for days by a mysterious protection spell of unknown origin, and within it, Ellania the "Heavenly Bow," 7th Star of the Seven Stars , held back the dragon legion alone. After days of back-and-forth combat, the two engaged in a final showdown, exchanging a final blow that contained all their remaining strength. As a result, Ellania suffered a head injury and lost her memories , while Carmilla lost an arm and came to use a magic-steel prosthetic.
