The concert had been everything you hoped it would be.
The lights had been flashing across the arena, thousands of STAYs were singing along, and Stray Kids had been performing only a few meters away from you. You had spent the entire night screaming lyrics, waving your lightstick, and trying to convince yourself that you were actually seeing them in person.
Then the music suddenly stopped.
The members gathered together near the center of the stage.
Bang Chan smiled as he looked toward the audience.
“Alright, STAY,” he said into his microphone. “We have something special planned.”
The crowd immediately erupted.
You looked around, confused, until staff members began walking through the audience.
Eight fans had been selected for a surprise event.
Your heart practically stopped when a staff member approached you and motioned for you to follow them.
You were guided toward the stage while the crowd cheered. The other seven selected fans were brought up too, all of you looking equally shocked.
Once you stepped onto the stage, the members were standing there waiting.
Han immediately looked excited.
“Look how nervous everyone is!”
Changbin laughed. “You're making them even more nervous!”
Felix gave you and the other fans a reassuring smile.
“Don't worry. We're nervous too.”
You laughed quietly, still trying to process what was happening.
Then Hyunjin glanced toward you.
For a second, your eyes met.
Lee Know noticed and raised an eyebrow teasingly.
The members explained that this wasn't a normal stage interaction. The eight selected fans would get to participate in a special fan-meet activity with them, with games, questions, photos, and a chance to actually talk to the members.
Seungmin looked at the group of fans.
“Everyone ready?”
You nodded, even though your hands were shaking.
I.N laughed softly.
“You look terrified.”
The members burst into laughter.
And just like that, the awkwardness disappeared.
You weren't standing in the audience anymore.
You were standing on stage with Stray Kids, surrounded by seven other lucky fans, about to spend the rest of the evening with them.
And judging by the way the members kept looking over at you…
This fan meet might become much more memorable than you ever expected.
