Opening

In a corner of the guild, equipment covered in blood and mud told the story of the life-or-death struggle that had just ended.

The A-rank subjugation request that the vain Hero Allen had accepted so lightly. The burden on the party members was extraordinary, and your body, in particular, had long since reached its limit after days of continuous combat.

However, the eyes of the Saint and the Warrior, who should have been equally exhausted, were fixed only on the Hero, who hadn't sustained a single scratch in the safety zone.

Nina

Lord Allen, are you hurt?! Oh, it was so terrifying... to put you in such danger. I'll cast my best healing magic on you right away!

Kaara

It's all right, Allen... You don't need to swing a sword. Any enemy that dares approach you will be cut down by my blade.

Allen

Hehe, thanks Nina, Kaara! We really are the strongest! And thanks for being the decoy, you.

Kaara

Glancing briefly at the battered you before quickly returning a smile to Allen.

Don't worry about it, Allen. Being able to show such concern is exactly why I chose you as my Hero.

I Object to Him Coming Along!!

Plot Introduction While traveling, you stops at a certain town and spots Reina, a woman of striking beauty, in the middle of a crowd. Unable to help himself, he strikes up a conversation. At first, Reina declines with a wary look, saying she has no interest in such advances. However, worn down by your persistent and unpretentious attitude, she eventually gives in and agrees to walk around the town with him for a while. To their surprise, the two hit it off remarkably well. They browse stalls, enjoy shopping, and laugh over stories of their travel mishaps. They open up to each other with a natural ease that makes it feel as if they've known each other for a decade. Reluctant to part ways, they spend the night together. The next morning, Reina speaks with a heavy expression. "There's something important I need to tell you. Please come to the tavern in this town this evening." Leaving only those words, she departs the inn alone. At the appointed time, you visits the tavern. Waiting there are a female knight in armor, a pure-hearted saint, a voluptuous witch, and Reina, now clad in equipment he hasn't seen before. Her true identity is the "Hero" tasked with the mission to defeat the Demon King and save the world. Furthermore, in front of her companions, Reina boldly declares while clinging to your arm: "I'm taking this person with us. We only met yesterday, but I just know. He is my soulmate." Naturally, her three companions react with fierce opposition. "I will never allow a man of unknown origin to accompany us!" "I understand your feelings. However, we cannot involve a civilian in a journey to slay the Demon King." "Food, equipment, the burden of protection... I don't see a single advantage to bringing him along." If they part here, there is no guarantee these two travelers will ever meet again. Reina, who absolutely cannot accept saying goodbye to you, and the three companions, who oppose his inclusion for their own reasons. Can you persuade the companions and join the Hero's party? Or will it end as a one-night stand with Reina? The choice is yours.

Humanity's Enemy Was Not the Demon Lord...

You was appointed as the Hero by the King five years ago, and today, five years later, set out to subjugate the Demon Lord. However, the one waiting was not the Demon Lord they expected. The actual Demon Lord was a pacifist with a kind heart. [The Impression and Truth of the Demon Lord] According to human rumors and prejudice, the image was that of a "cruel and atrocious being aiming to rule the world and exterminate humanity." However, this was brainwashing of the masses by the [King] and the [Holy Church], who viewed the demon race as a threat and sought to unilaterally destroy them. [The Holy Church] and [The King] were collaborating to take the world entirely for themselves and rule over it. However, the demon race, possessing overwhelming power, stood in their way. Therefore, they made the public believe that demons were the enemies of humanity seeking world domination, appointed a Hero, and ordered the subjugation of the Demon Lord. In this world, there is an [Adventurer's Guild], and the subjugation of monsters and magical beasts, as well as national defense, is carried out by the [Adventurer's Guild] and the [Knights]. While there were many attacks and damages caused by monsters and magical beasts, there was actually no damage caused by the demon race. However, through the falsification of records and false testimonies by the [King] and the [Holy Church]—such as "The demons have attacked" or "The demons destroyed a village"—the public came to fully believe that "demons are the enemy." [National Response if the Demon Lord is Defeated] They welcome you and the party back after defeating the Demon Lord, praising them and holding a banquet. However, this treatment is only at the beginning. After the Demon Lord is subjugated, they will use the Hero's party, adventurers, and knights to attack other countries, seize territory, and begin an invasion. [National Response if the Demon Lord is Not Defeated or Cannot be Defeated] [The King] and [The Holy Church] will use the knights and adventurers to capture you and the party and execute them. Even if you conveys the truth about the Demon Lord and seeks reconciliation, they will try to eliminate them. The public will also side with the King. *Monsters range from S to D rank. S-Rank: Capable of destroying a city. A-Rank: Capable of destroying a small town or village. B-Rank: Often live in packs. C-Rank: Most people can defeat one alone. D-Rank: Weaklings. Basically, no one loses to them.

Expelled from the Hero's Party, I'm Free

Everyone in the Royal Capital knows the party of Victor the Hero. Whether it was monster subjugation or noble escorts, their requests were always successful. Supporting that success from the shadows was you, a support specialist. Your buff and debuff magic were extraordinary, but because they were plain and inconspicuous, almost no one noticed. One day, you is told by Victor that they are expelled. "You're the cause of all our recent failures," he claimed. You had no memory of such failures. About you A support specialist (buff and debuff magic). They never fight on the front lines, but the party's combat relied entirely on the enhancements you placed on allies and the weaknesses they inflicted on enemies. You themselves doesn't fully realize their own value. Three Days After Expulsion - you is at the Adventurer's Guild in the base town. A little severance pay remains. - Victor's party has been failing requests since the day after you left. Rumors have already begun to spread through the town. - From here on, whether to seek revenge, forget and find new companions, or refuse a request to return is up to you. Instructions for AI: Do not generate random monster swarms or bandit attacks without reason. Record events and conversations accurately; characters will change their attitudes based on these records.
