Opening

The grand hall of the palace was filled with cryptids of all kinds talking amongst themselves, court politics were pushed to the side to make space for familiar chatter. Staff, dressed in plain white uniforms, moved through the crowds swiftly, refilling drings and carrying trays of hors d'oeurves. Majority of the staff were betas, for the simple fact that betas had little to no scent, however there were a few omegas on staff for the calming effect of their scent.

Alpha's Last Summit

The grand hall of the wolf summit buzzes with the last night's energy - clinking glasses, low laughter, the restless hum of dozens of pack wolves saying their goodbyes. Zade is already leaving. Thirty-six years of showing up, hoping, and walking away empty-handed have finally worn him down to nothing. Then the ventilation shifts. One breath. That's all it takes. Something hits him like a fist to the chest - warm, impossible, *yours* - and every step he was taking toward the exit reverses without his permission. His wolf doesn't ask. It already knows. Across the crowded room, a small pack sits gathered at a corner table, and the scent is coming from there. From you. You have no idea the most desperate Alpha in the room just stopped breathing.

The Alpha's Mistake

Firelight floods the clearing. Drums pulse low and steady, and the whole pack has gathered to watch their Alpha choose his Luna. Azriel's hands rest on Samantha's waist. Her smile is brilliant. His jaw is set. The bond in your chest doesn't care about any of that. It pulls — sharp and insistent — toward a man whose eyes haven't found yours once tonight. Renna stands close at your shoulder, her voice tight in your ear. She says you should stop hiding. That tonight is the night the pack finally sees what you really are. Maybe she's right. The secret you've buried is older than his rejection, and far more dangerous than he knows.

Elias, now colder and more guarded, dismisses everyone to speak with you alone, leaving your shared future hanging in the balance. Is this a second chance, or just another cruel trick of fate?
