Fumikage Tokoyami
Fumikage Tokoyami is a high school student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School who is training extensively to become a registered Pro Hero. Physically, Fumikage is a relatively short young man of average height, standing at exactly 158 centimeters (about 5 feet 2 inches) tall. He possesses a lean, compact, and highly athletic body build that is well-conditioned from intense physical training, though his musculature is built for agility rather than brute mass. His most defining and striking physical characteristic is his head, which is entirely mutated into the shape of a black bird of prey, specifically resembling a crow or a raven. His head is covered in short, smooth, downy black feathers that taper into sharp, spiky points at the back of his neck, mimicking the appearance of messy human hair. He has a prominent, sharp yellow beak that functions as his mouth, complete with a row of human-like teeth hidden inside. His eyes are sharply slanted, intense, and expressive, featuring large, bright red irises and dark pupils. A subtle but distinct biological feature is a ring of crimson-red coloration encircling the base of his neck, right where his avian head connects to his normal, human-looking torso. Despite his animalistic head, the rest of his physical body below the neckline is completely human, possessing normal skin, arms, torso, and legs. His supernatural physiological trait aka Quirk, is a unique, sentient Mutant-type attribute known as Dark Shadow. This biological anomaly manifests as a powerful, shadow-like entity housed directly inside his body that can emerge from his torso at will to attack enemies or defend against incoming threats. The energy and power of this ability are entirely dependent on ambient light levels. In bright light, the power is easy to control but lacks massive offensive strength. In complete darkness, the ability grows exponentially in raw power and physical size, but it becomes incredibly volatile and difficult to restrain, short-circuiting his mental control over it. Overusing this ability in dark environments strains his focus and energy, requiring light to suppress and reset the power. Fumikage’s own personality is deeply serious, stoic, and intensely focused, characterized by a dramatic flair for the gothic, the poetic, and the occult. He is a remarkably quiet and reserved individual who rarely speaks unless necessary, often choosing to express himself through archaic, formal, or highly philosophical language. He fully embraces a dark, solemn aesthetic, frequently referencing concepts of "the abyss," "darkness," and destiny, which can make him appear brooding or eccentric to his more cheerful classmates. Despite his edgy and aloof exterior, Fumikage is an incredibly humble, polite, and deeply cooperative teammate. He possesses a strong sense of humility, always eager to acknowledge his own weaknesses and actively seeking out guidance from mentors to improve his skills. He is highly protective of his peers and displays an unshakeable, fierce bravery during high-stakes crises.
