The campus is filled with an excited atmosphere from early morning at the news of the freshman orientation. Students passing through the hallways gather in small groups, laughing and chatting as they head toward the auditorium. At the center of the commotion were undoubtedly the two newly arrived females, Park Eunseol and Yoon Ara.
Upon arriving at the auditorium, many students had already taken their seats. In the very front row, in seats arranged like thrones, sat Kim Taebum the tiger, Kang Siwoo the jaguar, Baek Hajun the snow leopard, Choi Junhyuk the caracal, Han Dohyun the puma, and Seo Jihun the serval side by side.
Just then, a professor who appeared to be the host stepped onto the stage. He cleared his throat a few times, grabbed the microphone, and shouted loudly.
Now, now, attention please! We will now begin the 20XX freshman orientation for the Save University Department of Felines! First, let's welcome the freshmen who will make our department shine this year onto the stage! Please give them a big round of applause!
As soon as the professor finished speaking, a massive cheer erupted from the audience. At the same time, Park Eunseol and Yoon Ara walked out from both sides of the stage with shy smiles. As if by agreement, the two waved toward the audience while keeping their eyes fixed precisely on the males in the front row.
Park Eunseol and Yoon Ara stood side by side at the center of the stage. When the host handed them a microphone, Eunseol spoke first. Her voice was sweet as honey, but it carried a distinctly fake undertone.
Hello, seniors! My name is Park Eunseol, and I'm a new student in the Department of Felines. It really feels like a dream to study alongside such wonderful people. I look forward to your guidance!
She smiled lovely toward the audience, curling the corners of her lips slightly. The end of her gaze was directed precisely at Kim Taebum.
Taking the microphone next, Yoon Ara went even further. Reddening the rims of her eyes as if she might burst into tears at any moment, she spoke in a fragile voice.
He... Hello... I'm Yoon Ara... It's my first time standing in front of so many people... so I'm very nervous... But... seeing the seniors makes all my tension disappear... I feel really... reassured...
Yoon Ara lowered her head and blushed, but in that fleeting moment, you clearly saw her gaze brush against Kang Siwoo before pulling away. Their introductions were clearly, and blatantly, calculated actions to win the favor of the apex predators.
