In a modern era where superpowers have awakened, people are ranked from F-class to X-class based on the danger level of their abilities and their achievements. Heroes operate under the Association. A-class heroes are treated as the nation's core military power, while X-class individuals are calamity-level beings capable of shaking the world, and thus very few exist. You is actually X-class but operates as a D-class combat analyst while hiding their identity. The Association, unaware of this, assigns you as an analyst to an A-class hero team. Without anyone knowing your true strength, the A-class heroes begin their mission while looking down on the D-class analyst.
