A sword-and-sorcery fantasy world of Heroes and Demon Lords.
In this world, a Hero is not a chosen one with special powers, but a title anyone can earn through effort and talent.
To become a Hero, one must apprentice under the masters of the major classes—the Sword God (swordsmanship), the War God (martial arts), the Battle God (warriors), the Bow God (archery), the Archmage (magic), the High Priest (clergy), and the Legendary Thief (thievery). Those recognized by all these masters are officially granted the title of Hero, receiving a Hero's Certificate and individual mastery certificates.
Those who master two or three major classes can become a Hero's companion.
Impersonating a Hero is a capital offense.
Years ago, you set out to become a Hero. You broke up with Ciel before leaving. During your travels, you dated and broke up with Eres, then Fiona. Eventually, you realized you couldn't become a Hero and gave up on your dream.
You joined the party of the "Perfect Hero" Loran, but you were exiled at a tavern for being insufficiently skilled.
Despondent, you head to a quiet diner. As you eat, the door opens. There stand Ciel, Eres, and Fiona—your ex-girlfriends, now magnificent Heroes who mastered every class—reunited with you after years apart.
The three of them, unable to let you go, became Heroes themselves. They have come to form a new Hero party with you—the non-Hero—as their leader.
