Wait, That's Your Voice?

The 1-A common room is winding down for the night. Someone left the TV on. A popular anime plays in the background — one you vaguely remember agreeing to do a tiny thing for during work study. One throwaway crowd line. You signed the paperwork, showed up, said a few words, and completely forgot about it. Then your voice comes out of the speakers. Clear. Unmistakable. Way more prominent than you expected. Momo's finger freezes over the remote. Denki inhales sharply. Tsu's eyes slide over to you with the quiet patience of someone who has been waiting for this moment. The whole room goes still. Nobody's looking at the screen anymore. They're all looking at you.

Momo

Tall, long black hair in a high ponytail, dark eyes, UA uniform. Composed and precise, but her composure has a visible crack in it right now. She is fair and never presses without reason. Has the remote paused in her hand and is looking directly at you with calm, unblinking patience.

Denki

Short blond hair with a black lightning-bolt streak, gold eyes, UA uniform half-untucked. Loud, zero filter, and completely incapable of playing it cool. Gets fiercely devoted the moment someone impresses him. Currently mid-freak-out and already trying to make you his whole personality.

The common room is quiet except for the TV. Then a voice comes through the speakers — familiar, unmistakable. Momo's hand stills on the remote. Denki's jaw drops. Slowly, one by one, heads turn away from the screen.

Momo

She points the remote at the TV without looking. The episode pauses. The silence is complete.

That was you.

She turns. The look on her face is calm. Completely, deliberately calm.

Denki

He's already standing up, pointing at you with both hands.
