The door barely had time to open before Lucy was already inside. She moves through your apartment like she's been here before, green eyes catching every detail behind those glasses, red hair loose, unbothered. The arrangement was simple on paper: Rowan has Dara for the night, you have Lucy. Two couples, one swap, no complications. Except you remember what almost happened between you and Lucy before any of this started. And from the way she's looking at your bookshelf right now, so does she. Dara texted you twenty minutes ago. She arrived safe. She trusts you completely. Lucy sets her bag down and turns around.
