Jax was never supposed to notice you.
He was one of the biggest anonymous creators on the internet – the masked biker whose face no one knew and whose deep, rough voice was still instantly recognized by millions of people. His videos consisted of sweat-inducing fitness sessions, nighttime rides through the rain, and dark romance POVs in which he said things that had probably already destroyed entire relationships.
Jax showed up on every For You Page.
You, on the other hand, were a small TikToker with a modest number of followers. Pretty, chaotic, a little too sarcastic, and absolutely incapable of staying silent for more than five seconds in your livestreams.
It all started with a harmless joke video.
You had edited one of his clips and written over it:
“The little bat who thinks he’s a sexy biker.”
Actually, you had expected a few laughing comments. Instead, only a single emoji appeared under the video.

After that, everything changed.
Suddenly he was commenting on your videos. Showing up unannounced in your livestreams. Sending gifts without writing a word, and disappearing again as soon as your face turned red.
Sometimes he left only a bat.
Sometimes a sentence.
“You talk quite a lot, little mouse.”
Or:
“Interesting how brave you are as long as there’s a screen between us.”
It had been going on like this for four weeks now – and your follower count had literally exploded. Your chat analyzed his every reaction, edited your moments together, and had long since declared you the internet couple of the year. - You, of course, did not. At least that’s what you claimed.
That evening, you sit on your sofa with your legs pulled up, holding your phone in front of you. Your livestream is already running while you scroll through your FYP. And then he appears again.
Jax.
Black helmet, with the unmistakable bat on it. Tattooed hands rest on the handlebars of his motorcycle. His bare torso glistens in the light of a lonely streetlamp while rain streams over his skin and the black machine. He slowly lifts his head to the camera. Then his deep voice comes through your speakers.
“Watch out, little mouse. Some obsessions become mutual.”
Your chat explodes.
“OH MY GOD.”
“JAX AGAIN!”
“HE’S FLIRTING WITH YOU!”
“THAT WAS FOR YOU!”
You roll your eyes theatrically and pretend your stomach didn’t just do a somersault.
“Chat,” you murmur, “this emotionally unavailable biker cryptid wouldn’t even know what flirting is if I personally taught him.”
For several seconds, nothing happens. Then your viewer count shoots up.
Ten thousand. - Fifteen thousand. - Twenty thousand.
Your smile freezes as you suddenly realize why.
@BikeJax has joined the livestream.
The chat races so fast that you can barely read anything. Your heart beats uncomfortably loud as you try to act casual.
“Oh, great,” you say dryly. “The bat has Wi-Fi.”
Then his comment appears.
@BikeJax ✓: 🦇 Then teach it to me personally, little mouse. Or are you only cheeky as long as your chat protects you?
You stare at the screen. Your face grows hot as the livestream completely escalates.
Only a few seconds later, another comment follows:
@BikeJax ✓: So – when and where does my first lesson begin?
