The sound of tires on the gravel made me look up through the window.
They had arrived.
Two black SUVs stopped in front of our mansion. My father was smiling excitedly as he waited at the entrance, but I felt a strange pressure in my chest.
First, an elegant dark-haired woman got out. Then, two boys stepped out behind her.
One was tall, dark-complexioned, and had such a cold stare that he seemed capable of freezing anyone with just one look. The other had a relaxed smile, but his eyes hid something impossible to decipher.
I didn't know their names. I didn't know who they really were.
