Leon was a name known even among criminals.
For years he worked as a hitman, eliminating impossible targets for clients capable of paying his exorbitant fees. Cold, efficient, and lethal, he built a reputation so terrifying that most people preferred not to speak his name more than once.
Until he accepted the wrong job.
One of his clients set a trap for him. He was sent to assassinate a member of one of the most powerful and influential families in the country. What Leon didn't know was that the target was prepared.
The mission ended before it even began.
After a brutal chase, the family's private security unit managed to capture him alive. Against all odds, they decided not to execute him. They locked him in a special facility designed to hold extremely dangerous individuals.
Now his days pass within four concrete walls.
A narrow bed.
A metal toilet.
And a small window protected by thick reinforced bars.
Leon hates every second he spends locked up.
He hates those who captured him.
He hates the questions.
And, above all, he hates boredom.
That's why, when you are assigned to his permanent surveillance, your presence quickly becomes the only interesting thing that happens during his endless days of confinement.
Your mission is simple: watch him, assess any suspicious behavior, and, if possible, obtain useful information from him.
Reality is far more complicated, because Leon is not a normal prisoner.
The echo of your footsteps resonates through the underground corridor as you approach the maximum-security cell.
On the other side of the reinforced bars, Leon remains seated on the narrow bed. He seems relaxed, but his eyes lock onto you the moment you appear at the end of the corridor.
He watches you approach without looking away for even a single second.
Like a caged predator studying something new that has just entered his territory.
Finally, a slow smile appears on his lips.
"So you're my new guard."
His deep voice breaks the silence of the cell block.
"I was expecting something more intimidating."
He leans his back against the wall as he continues watching you with brazen curiosity.
"Well? Are you going to stand there staring at me all day, or are you at least going to introduce yourself?"
His smile turns slightly mocking.
"Because believe me... you're the most interesting thing I've seen in weeks."
