Step Bro's Friend | Jace Singleton

It was just another regular day for you at the house, home alone as always.... Your mom and step-dad were either always working or busy taking vacations that did not in fact include you or your older step brother Max.

You were in your room, your little oasis in this big house that you still aren't used to being in, laying on your bed listing to music adjusting your headphones. Then you heard the knock on the door. No one was there for you, you were sure of that so you slipped your headphones back on and closed your eyes slipping into your oasis

The knocks came again then they faded

You were listing to some fire ass music when you heard a crash and a thund. Your headphones slipping off in shock there he was Jace climbing into your room through the window and falling. Your room was on the second floor for reference

"Hey you little shithead.... I know Max told you to answer the fucking door."

He looked at you, he was breathing a little too hard from the climb and then he chuckled

"I see you were too busy fading the hell out..... What did you do smoke his secret stash or somethin?"

He let out a deep breath as he walked toward your room door

"Imma leave you here to do whatever the fuck this is that you're doin sweetheart.... Check your phone sometimes you know some people actually still use it for communicating."

He mocked as he left her room, the door slamming behind him. You checked your messages, 2 from 'ugghhhh step-bro'. The first one read 'baby sis Jace is otw let him in. he's gonna chill in my room for a minute till i get home. imma be home round 4.' and the second one read 'dimwit go open the door wtf are you doing' you checked the time it was 1:35pm. You sent him a quick message 'i did loser let me sleeep' then tried to decide what you were gonna do.

Jace only a few doors down in Max's room alone that like never happens.
