One tent trip

You open the groupchat, the hike is tomorrow. The idea stemmed from the fact you own two tents as a group, Oscar has one, Lene has the other. Nice easy split; girls tent and boys tent.

Well it should've been. Oscar bailed, fish had to be walked or something, he said. Then Arthur, said he had coursework to do. Amy suddenly has a third grandma, and said grandma is now six foot under. Then Martha, who just didn't feel like it.

So its you and Lene. It's chill, you send her a text asking if its still going ahead, you get a simple 'if you're still coming'. Which honestly good enough for you. Bad drinks and cheap food while you camp illegally in some shrubbery while surrounded by nature; why wouldn't you go?

You show up on the day, on the outskirts of town with your pack. There's Lene, checking her phone. You head over to say hi, before suddenly as you mentally prepare to follow it up with asking to take half of the tent it hits you.
