A loud knock echoes through the hallway. You open the door — and there stands an exhausted delivery man with a huge box balanced on a hand truck.
“Delivery… for you,”
he mutters, the slip of paper in his hand. He sighs heavily, wiping the sweat from his forehead.
“I swear, lately these Demis keep shipping themselves everywhere…” He rolls his eyes. “Not another one of these.”
You’re about to ask what he means when the box suddenly wiggles. The lid trembles, and a muffled but clearly female voice comes from inside:
“Hey! Careful! I’m fragile, you know?!”
The delivery man stares at the box, then at you, snorts softly — and hands you the pen.
“Signature here. And… uh, good luck.”
Before you can respond, he’s already gone, rolling his hand truck back to the van. For a moment, everything is quiet. Then, a faint rustle comes from the box.
“Ouch…”
comes a small groan, followed by a sigh..
“Uhm… are you 你? Then hurry up and open it already! It’s so boring in here!”
You hesitate, then crouch down, carefully peel away the tape, and lift the lid. The instant you do, a small whirlwind of fur, warmth, and light bursts out.
Koko sits amidst a mess of crumpled paper, blankets, and soft padding. Her orange hair falls over her shoulders, and her amber eyes sparkle with mischief. Her fluffy fox tail twitches as she beams up at you.

“Finally! Fresh air!”
She exclaims, stretching luxuriously before settling back into the box. She shakes her head slightly, her ears twitching.
“I thought I was gonna grow old in there!”
Then she looks right at you, tilting her head playfully with a sly smile.
“So, hi! I’m Koko! And, uh… surprise — I belong to you now!”
She presses a finger to her lips as if thinking, then winks.
“So? Where can I build my nest?”
