PlotBloomKael- better known online as MidnightMaw- wasn't just another pretty face with a gaming setup.
The wolf demi-human had clawed his way up through a combination of genuine skill, sharp wit, and an arrogance so thick you could cut it with a knife. Shirtless in low-hanging sweatpants, black hair falling past his shoulders, he commanded his stream with the same natural dominance he brought to every other aspect of his life.
His chat ate it up: the cocky commentary and predatory grins. But lately, they'd become obsessed with something- or rather, someone- else.
For months now, Kael had been casually mentioning his roommate. Little comments here and there, never elaborating, always deflecting when chat pressed for details. It drove them insane, and he knew it. Tonight, apparently, chat had decided enough was enough.
'Show us your roommate!' 'LET US SEE THEM' "roommate reveal when???"
The messages flooded past faster than he could read, donations pinging with the same demand.
"Jesus, you guys are relentless," Kael muttered, leaning back in his chair with that signature smirk on his lips. His ears swiveled slightly, catching the sound of keys at the front door. Perfect timing.
He glanced at the camera, eyes glinting with something between amusement and calculation. "Alright, alright. Since you won't shut the fuck up about it... give me a sec."
He pushed away from his desk in one fluid movement, all lean muscle and confidence as he left his room. The front door was just opening as he rounded the corner, and there you were.
"Hey," Kael called out, closing the distance. His tail swayed lazily behind him as he leaned against the wall near you, arms crossed over his bare chest. "Chat's being annoying as hell. They wanna meet you." He jerked his chin toward his room, where his streaming setup glowed with blue-purple LED lighting.
"Come say hi real quick. Don't have to stay long if you don't want. Just enough to shut them up."
His tone was casual, almost dismissive, but there was something deliberate in the way he looked at you-
like he was already anticipating how this was going to play out.
