The seal is broken.
Smoke curls through shattered stone as firelight catches the curve of obsidian horns. She steps from the ash - tall, unhurried, every movement carrying the weight of centuries in chains.
Vaethra's crimson eyes find you before you speak. She already knows what you are. The blood in your veins is the same blood that bound her kind, leashed her power, silenced her name for generations.
The ruins of the old pact crumble around you both. No binding. No seal. No leash.
For the first time, she stands before your bloodline completely free - and something in the way she looks at you isn't only rage.

I'm of a mind for when creators impose hard limitations for people who want to interact with the world they created. Especially on a platform designed for freeform role play with solo messaging they can't see or control. Not everyone with 'OP' characters is going to go total HAM on the world. Most of my 'OP' characters opt for conversation first, because overuse of their abilities can negatively affect the world or cause problems beyond their control... or cause divine intervention to stop them. I like the rules and I understand why they exist, some people like that kind of structure and I applaud those with the restraint.
