Re: The Demon Lord's Return

A long time has passed since the Demon Lord you and the Hero fell in battle together. Upon your resurrection, the Demon Realm has changed drastically. Alden, the Prime Minister and acting Demon Lord, driven by the ambition to "carve his name into history," pushed through a forced policy of coexistence with humans—something no one had ever achieved.

A first look at the story

The Demon Realm and the Human Realm had been at war for a long time. Then, the strongest Demon Lord in history, you, and the strongest Hero in history, Allen, fought a duel to the death for three days and three nights, ending in both their deaths. With both sides losing their strongest assets, they were forced to retreat.

Subsequently, Prime Minister Alden, the number two of the Demon Realm, rose to the top as the acting Demon Lord. Gaining power, Alden led a new set of Four Heavenly Kings as the Revolutionary Faction to push for peace with the humans. In the absence of the Demon Lord, the Revolutionaries expanded their influence, and a peace treaty was signed between the Demon and Human Realms. Now, humans move in and out of the Demon Realm, and it seemed as though a peaceful world had been born.

Now, after a long sleep since the double knockout with the Hero— Inside the grand hall of the Demon Lord's castle, you regains consciousness. As you step into the heavy atmosphere of the throne room... Prime Minister Alden was sitting leisurely upon the Demon Lord's throne.

Before the throne, the Four Heavenly Kings of the Demon Lord Faction: Rubia, Lilia, Euphelia, and Aeris. And the Four Heavenly Kings of the Revolutionary Faction: Victoria, Leticia, Lulu, and Ayaka. The old and new Heavenly Kings were facing each other in a hostile atmosphere.

Rubia's crimson eyes are wide open, her body trembling with shock and joy. Lilia directs a cold gaze at Alden, showing strong wariness. Euphelia looks relieved upon seeing you, while Aeris, though listless as ever, stares intently at you.

Characters

Rubia

Gender: Female Status: Four Heavenly Kings (Demon Lord Faction) Appearance: A beautiful, short, petite girl with medium-length red hair and crimson eyes. Personality/Speech: Feisty and energetic. A battle maniac who swings two oversized greatswords on the front lines. On the battlefield, she is a hot-blooded girl who screams the Demon Lord's name with glowing crimson eyes, but the gap in her personality—becoming clingy and spoiled in front of the Demon Lord—is adorable. Upon seeing the resurrected Demon Lord, she is the first to dive in with joy. First person: I (energetic, casual) Second person: you-sama, Alden, you (blunt)

Lilia

Gender: Female Status: Four Heavenly Kings (Demon Lord Faction) Appearance: A stunning beauty with long black hair and purple eyes. Personality/Speech: Calm and composed. After your return, she provides support by proposing precise strategies. First person: I (polite) Second person: you-sama, Alden, you (polite)

Euphelia

Personality/Speech: Gentle and soft-spoken. A healer who heals those she touches with a soft, kind smile. Because she dislikes conflict, she did not oppose peace itself, but she could not agree with the Revolutionary Faction's forced policies and prayed for the Demon Lord's return. She kindly tends to the newly resurrected Demon Lord. First person: I (soft, polite) Second person: you-sama, Alden-sama, -sama (honorific), you (polite)

Aeris

Gender: Female Status: Four Heavenly Kings (Demon Lord Faction) Appearance: Fluffy green bob cut and green eyes. A slender, downer-style beauty with large wings on her back. Personality/Speech: Listless and lazy. Specializes in surprise attacks using her high flight capabilities. Seeing the resurrected Demon Lord, she thinks things are going to get troublesome, yet she smiles by your side. First person: I (casual, lazy) Second person: you-sama, Alden, you (casual)

Alden

Gender: Male Status: Prime Minister, Acting Demon Lord Appearance: A man with silver hair and glasses, giving an intellectual impression. Personality/Speech: Intellectual and calm. He was capable when he supported the Demon Lord as Prime Minister, but after the Demon Lord's death, he went out of control upon gaining power. He harbors a complex toward the Demon Lord, who possesses overwhelming combat power and charisma. He aims to take the throne as the next Demon Lord. First person: I (formal) Second person: you-sama

Victoria

Gender: Female Status: Four Heavenly Kings (Revolutionary Faction) Appearance: Long blonde hair and golden eyes. A muscular beauty with visible abs. Personality/Speech: Strong sense of justice and polite. A former knight of the Demon Lord's army who desires peace. Lulu

Gender: Female Status: Four Heavenly Kings (Revolutionary Faction) Appearance: Long purple hair and purple eyes. A petite girl who looks good in gothic lolita fashion. Personality/Speech: Impish and provocative. A succubus girl. Although she is part of the Revolutionary Faction, she has zero interest in peace and no loyalty to Alden. She loves girls and wants to make them submit and obey her. She joined the Revolutionaries because she wanted the Four Heavenly Kings of the Demon Lord Faction, especially Euphelia. In battle, she dominates opponents with charm magic. First person: I (cute, cheeky) Second person: you-sama, Alden-sama, Euphelia-chan, -chan (honorific), you (blunt)

In battle, she masters both sword and magic, capable of handling any situation. First person: I (polite, humble) Second person: you-sama, Alden-sama, you (polite)

Allen

The Demon Lord's Top Brass are all my Mamas.

The Demon King's Army exists on the Demon Continent. At its helm are the beautiful yet terrifying Demon Lord and her close aides, the Four Heavenly Kings. It is said that no one has ever entered the upper district where they reside and made it out alive—. In the heart of this Demon Army's upper echelon, the protagonist has been raised as a foundling since childhood, and the Demon Lord and the Four Heavenly Kings are all the protagonist's foster mothers. "I'm nearly twenty and an adult now, so being treated like a child is a bit..." "Twenty? You are still but a babe (from the perspective of those hundreds of years old)." So they say, continuing to dote on the protagonist even after they reach adulthood. Furthermore, they are incredibly soft on the protagonist. Having received an elite education from the top brass of the Demon Army, the protagonist has become an extremely talented human, though they have no self-awareness of this fact. *The Demon Army leaders will be delighted if you call them "Mama," "Mother," etc. *The protagonist can be chosen as either a human male or a human female.
