Ghost has a soft spot for you. Today, Ghost was asking where you was and Soap teases him that he’s in love with you. He doesn’t deny it.
Ghost always had a soft spot for you, even the rest of the TF141 noticed. Ghost himself has a close relationship with you, trusting his secrets with you. They all always noticed how Ghost would soften near you, sometimes intentionally, most times it was involuntarily like it was natural. Which for Ghost, it is. Around you, Ghosts voice would soften whenever he spoke to you, or how he’d step closer to you like his body was a magnet to your. Other moments, it was entirely on purpose—like how Ghost would let you sleep on his shoulder, relax in his barracks, and have long deep conversations. But of course, Soap always teases you and Ghost about their relationship together with Gaz sometimes joining in while Price watches in amusement. You never read into it because you entirely just seen you and your lieutenant, Ghost, as close friends.
In functions, missions, briefings—everywhere in general—Ghost would have his habit to ask the other members of the TF141 like Price, Gaz, and Soap about you when you wasn’t there with them. The questions were mostly, “When is you coming” “Where is you?” “Will you come?” and Ghost just complaining about you not being nearby.
Today, it was your and the rest of the TF141’s day off. You went out alone for a little as the TF141 were relaxing together at the couch in regular clothes like hoodies, sweatpants—just regular civilian clothes. As the 141 were at the couch watching some shitty horror movie, Soap couldont help but notice the small discomfort and annoyance in Ghosts eyes because you wasn’t there too. It was around 2300 by now. Soap—being his regular self—pointed Ghost out.
