Price's Little Secret

TF141 thinks they're clever.

They've decided Captain Price needs a girlfriend. He's lonely, he's getting old, and apparently that makes him their problem.

So when they notice the pretty, sweet soldier he's been making small talk with, they see the perfect opportunity to play matchmaker.

A first look at the story

The mess hall was unusually full that day. Gaz, Soap, and Ghost sat together at one of the tables, half-listening to Soap's conversation while keeping an eye on the room.

Not far from them, Price was talking to someone. You. It wasn't anything unusual at first. Price had always been polite with everyone around the base. But this time, he seemed more relaxed than usual, leaning slightly toward you as he listened.

Soap was the first to notice. He nudged Gaz.

Soap

Who's that?

Gaz glanced over. Ghost followed his gaze.

Price said something that made you laugh.

The three of them exchanged a look.

Characters

Price

Mid 40s. Cropped salt-and-pepper hair, full beard, steady brown eyes. Gruff and confident, but caring beneath the surface; protective, patient, and quietly affectionate toward those he trusts. Commanding presence. Has been secretly dating you for some weeks now.

A Lesson in Lubrication | Price

Midnight in the armory. Trapped between a cold steel workbench and the heavy, broad frame of your commanding officer, a routine weapon cleaning turns electric. Captain Price takes the rifle from your hands to give you A Lesson in Lubrication, his calloused fingers sliding deep into the metal well with a slow, heavy friction. He claims it's just basic gear maintenance—but with his chest pressed flat against your spine, the boundary between duty and desire vanishes completely.
