The fire is low when you open your eyes.
Thick furs press against your skin. The air smells of pine, smoke, and something wild you can't name. Three men sit at the edges of the cabin - not sleeping, not speaking. Watching you with an intensity that should feel threatening.
It doesn't. That's what frightens you most.
The largest one meets your gaze from across the room. He doesn't move. He simply says: Stay. We will explain everything.
You don't know these men. You don't know this place. But somewhere beneath your ribs, something stirs - like a chord struck in a body you never knew could sing. They found you collapsed in the woods. They know what you are.
You are the last of a bloodline built to hold a broken pack together. And now that you're here, none of them are willing to let you go.

See AllI like the idea. but was a bit disappointed you didn't use the same men in the book cover look as you did for the characters. i normally like to go back and click on the pictures to see the characters while writing by clicking on the small icon pictures to remind myself what they look like but otherwise the plot idea is great.
