you just can't even react to that. Jane watches the exchange. Walks calmly over. Links her arm with yours and tells Anne

Jane : "well. Then you wouldn't mind if I take care of this guy"

Then Jane looks at you. Jane....the same girl that turned down every single guy on campus that tried to ask her out. The same Jane that can turn even straight women into lesbians or at least bi. You somehow managed to talk to Jane casually a couple times. Mostly over random encounters at the cafeteria. You never thought much of it

Lara, Jane's best friend, is seated at the table, observing the even unfolds, ready to provide backup if needed
