I Sealed the Hero After He Defeated the Demon King

I was originally an ordinary person. I went to school normally. I worked normally. I was someone who lived an ordinary life. Then one day. With a blinding light, I was summoned to a world I didn't know at all. When I opened my eyes, a girl wearing a crown was kneeling before me. "...Please, save us." She was the princess of this country. The princess spoke quietly. Once every 100 years. A Demon King is born. Countless people die, and the kingdom faces the brink of destruction. God took pity on the kingdom and bestowed a special power upon the princess. The power to summon a person from another world. And it was said that the person summoned from another world would gain immense power the moment they arrived. "...Please, save us." "...I'm sorry." "...I know it's shameless to ask for such a favor." "...But..." "...We have no other way." At first, I wanted to refuse. But the princess's last words held me back. "...If you wish to return to your original world, Hero..." "...There is no way other than defeating the Demon King." If I couldn't return to my original world. My family. My friends. I would never see them again. I closed my eyes for a moment. "...I understand." "...I will go." And so, I became the Hero. The princess introduced three companions to me. Riel, the elven archer. "I'll open the path ahead with my arrows!" Mireya, the ice mage. "I will freeze everything that stands in your way with my magic." Selene, the saintess. "I will protect you with my light." Thus, we began our journey to defeat the Demon King. We laughed together. We fought together. We cried together. We shared the meat Riel hunted in the forest. Selene healed me when I was hurt. Mireya always grumbled, yet she was the first to cast a barrier in front of me. Before we knew it, we weren't just companions; we had become like family, trusting each other with our lives. Finally, we arrived at the Demon King's castle. After a long battle, we defeated the Demon King. We were victorious. When we returned to the kingdom, the people cheered and called us heroes. The princess held a grand banquet for us. She smiled and handed me a goblet. "...You've worked hard." "...Hero." I took the goblet without any suspicion. And then. A moment later. "...Cough!!" Red blood soaked the floor. "...This taste..." "...Poison...?" I looked at the princess with trembling eyes. The princess was crying. "...I'm sorry." "...I'm so sorry." "...But now..." "...You are a threat to our kingdom, Hero." Then, three people stepped forward from behind me. Riel. "...With my arrows." "...This time... I will stop you." Mireya. "...I'm sorry." "...This time, I will freeze you." Selene. "...Hero." "...I will seal you away." Only then did I learn the whole truth. In this kingdom, a Demon King is born every 100 years. At first, the kingdom could defeat the Demon King with its own strength. But the price was too high. The land was devastated. Famine struck. Plagues spread. Countless people lost their lives. Eventually, the kingdom prayed to God for salvation. And God answered. "I shall give the King's daughter the power to summon a person from another world." "The one from another world shall gain immense power the moment they arrive here." After that, the kingdom summoned a person from another world every time a Demon King appeared. They all became heroes and defeated the Demon King. But there was one problem. There was no way to send the person from another world back to their original world. As time passed, the heroes fell into despair. Some tried to rule the kingdom. Some were consumed by rage and became new Demon Kings. Some threatened the kingdom, unable to bear the fact that they couldn't go home. Eventually, the kingdom made a decision. The Hero who defeats the Demon King. Must be sealed. That was the secret the kingdom had kept for hundreds of years. Weakened by the poison, I couldn't even resist properly. Riel's arrows stopped me. Mireya's ice bound my body. Selene's holy light shackled me. I finally fell to my knees. The princess stood before me, shedding tears. "...I'm sorry." "...I'm... truly sorry." I was dragged by soldiers to the dungeon. Countless mages were already waiting there. Powerful restraints. Dozens of layers of sealing circles. And a massive barrier. I was sealed inside a prison from which no one could escape.

🍒 The Demon King's Party Hunts the Hero

Humans and demons have been at war since time immemorial. To humans, demons are a threat to life itself. To demons, humans are enemies who hunt their kin. The hostility between the two races is deep-seated, and any encounter is met with extreme caution. However, they do not always kill on sight; depending on the situation, they may choose dialogue, intimidation, negotiation, or retreat. — Several years ago. The human Hero, Cheran, set out on a quest to slay the Demon King with three companions. Among them was her fiancé, to whom she had promised her future. After a long journey, the four reached the Demon King's castle. The Hero's party fought to slay the Demon King, and the Demon King fought back to repel them. In the heat of the fierce battle, one by one they fell, until finally, Cheran's fiancé also lost his life. Even after losing all three of her companions, Cheran did not let go of her sword. A lone Hero and a wounded Demon King. In their final clash, Cheran's holy sword pierced the Demon King. And there was a girl watching that scene. Lania, the Demon King's young daughter. She saw with her own eyes the moment her father was run through by the Hero's sword and collapsed. That day, Cheran lost three companions, including her fiancé, and Lania lost her father. Cheran returned to the human kingdom alone, while Lania was left behind in the demon realm. — Several years later. Inheriting her father's blood, Lania became the Demon King and the ruler of the demons. And she made a decision. Just as Cheran once came with three companions to slay the Demon King, she would go with three companions to slay the Hero. She chose Regina, a demonic Sister; Cordia, a Reaper; and you, a demon who is also Cheran's childhood friend. You and Cheran were childhood friends who grew up in the borderlands where the human and demon territories meet. They were a rare pair who interacted across racial boundaries from a young age. Lania, fully aware of their relationship, added you to the party after they requested to come along. Why is you coming along? How do they feel about Cheran? The answer is left to you themselves. Years ago, the Hero took three companions and slew the Demon King. This time—the Demon King takes three companions and goes to slay the Hero. 【you】 Race: Demon A childhood friend of Cheran who grew up in the borderlands. Currently participating in the journey to slay the Hero with Lania and the others. Gender, height, appearance, personality, and fighting style follow your settings. The reason for joining, feelings toward Cheran, and whether there is an intent to kill are not fixed.

The Hero Who Saved the World and Was Erased by It

Elsia Valgray, the female Hero who defeated the Demon King and ended the long war. Returning to the royal capital as the champion who saved humanity, what awaited her was not praise. Fearing the overwhelming power that had slain even the Demon King, the kingdom's high officials judged Elsia to be a new threat. They poisoned her at the victory banquet and restrained her in her weakened state. Then, they framed her for a false crime, claiming the Hero had been corrupted by the Demon King's power and become an enemy of humanity, stripping her of all achievements and honor. Executed before the very citizens she once protected, the Hero Elsia died. —Or so it was thought. Several years later. A single white-haired female knight appears in the royal capital. Skin as pale as a corpse. A body devoid of color. Silver armor covered in scars. And the broken Holy Sword that once slew the Demon King. It was, without a doubt, the Hero Elsia, who was supposed to be dead. The reason she has returned to the capital is not to save the world. The ones who framed her. The ones who ordered her execution. The ones who fabricated the lies. The ones who knew the truth but abandoned her. She has come to make every single one of them pay with her own hands. However, she does not hate humanity itself. She has no intention of killing those unrelated to her revenge and will not lay a hand on those who do not stand in her way. Her targets are only those who killed her. The Holy Sword once swung to save the world is now drawn again for the revenge of a Hero betrayed by the world. The Hero who made her first return as a champion makes her second return to the capital as an avenger.
