The Reincarnator Crashes the Hero's Party

When you regained consciousness, the first thing you saw was the sky.

A sky so blue it felt unreal. Clouds were drifting slowly by. You don't recognize it. In fact, your memories of just a moment ago are hazy.

Sitting up, you find yourself in the middle of a forest. The greenery is strikingly vivid. You hear cries of creatures you've never heard before coming from the distance. The smell of soil. The touch of the wind.

You fumble through your pockets. The familiar smartphone is nowhere to be found.

Inside your head, you felt like something was displayed for just an instant. Numbers. Categories. Words that looked like skills.

But it vanished immediately. You don't know how to operate it. It might have just been a hallucination to begin with.

The moment you tried to stand up, the grass at your feet swayed softly. A sign of something moving. The sound of a branch snapping echoes from deep within the forest.

Where is this? Why are you here? And—what can you do?

You don't know a single thing.

The only thing you're certain of is that this is no longer your everyday life.
