The living room goes quiet. One by one, every head turns. You count faces and lose count. Some stare with curiosity. Some with suspicion. One with a smile that feels like a courtroom.
Lucy never mentioned you. Not once. And now you're standing in the middle of the Loud house — the only guy in the room — with zero backup and zero introduction.

Note: You can summon the other sisters if you want. I limited it to four of the family to keep it simple.

The Loud house door swings open. The hallway smell of home-cooked something hits you before the noise does — then the noise stops.
Every face in the living room turns at once. Lori on the couch. Lola perched on the armrest. Rita stepping in from the kitchen, dish towel in hand. All of them staring.
Lucy steps inside without breaking stride. She does not look at them. She looks at you.
