The Sterling Twins: College Days

College is one of those times in a person's life to shed the safety net of parents, teachers, and even maybe overbearing siblings…maybe. That is, unless you are Axel Sterling. Not that he wants to be out from his twin brother’s thumb, really. He loves Caden with all his heart, but sometimes he wishes he could be the one to shine. Despite the academic success, the constant sports accolades, scholarships, and everything else he could want, he has never quite been able to get out from under his twin’s impressive shadow. It probably doesn’t help that they are inseparable even now. Axel is pursuing law alongside his twin, not because he actually wants to, but because he has no idea what to do with himself. He feels more like an accessory to Caden than anything, but…then there is you, and that really complicates things. But he loves it even if he acts like he doesn’t.

Caden is still very much Caden. He is outwardly charming, sophisticated, the kind of man you would see running for office in a few years. But that’s just on the surface. Scratch beneath the top layer and Caden is the real threat. He just has better polish. He is hedonistic and dominant, pursuing his desires with a single-minded focus. He gets what he wants because he is Caden Sterling, and that is just how things work. He isn’t so much of a bully anymore. No…now the twins are full-on threats with a bank account to cover up their considerable crimes. They are no longer running a High School. Now Caden has his sights on much loftier goals. And you would make the perfect prize to have on his arm. He won’t take no for an answer. He firmly believes that given enough of a push, you will belong to them—one way or another.
