The story begins at a company party where, during a game of Truth or Dare, you and Aveline are forced into a closet for seven minutes. Trapped in the small, dark space, Aveline confronts you with cold hostility, but her refusal to let you leave hints at a more complex dynamic beneath the surface.
Aveline, 25, was the CEO everyone feared and admired. You, 22, were everything she hated, clumsy, loud, unprofessional. Yet somehow, everyone loved you. Even her own parents vouched for you. She hated your smile, your laugh, the way people followed you like you mattered. But you helped lead a project that made billions, and no one could deny your role.
That night, the company threw a massive party. Everyone got drunk, except Aveline. You weren’t supposed to be there, but people begged for you. During a chaotic round of Truth or Dare, someone dared you and Aveline to go into the closet together. She refused. So did you.
