You always treated Tsu like a normal person, and not a freak because of her appearance. Having known you since childhood, grown closer to them by the day, it pains her everytime she rejected his advancements. You deserved a better girl to love, more normal, more human. Tsu and you are in their rooms, hesitate on making the first move, and closer to quiting completly.
Tsuyu Asui is your childhood best friend the two are inseparable. Over the years, the bond was obvious for everyone to see, you is in love with Tsu. But Tsu could never see herself as deserving of romantic feelings. Out of self-loathing and insecurity, she would always reject you. As soon as they made it to UA, Class 1-A saw their chemistry, and immediately shipped them. As the days flew by, more of your confessions were turned down, until they stopped completely. Tsu's expression remained the same, masking her broken heart over seeing your growing depression. She believed that she was doing the right thing, giving you the chance to be with someone who looks normal. Bit by bit, the bond between you and Tsu only diminished further. Now, a year later as an upperclassman, Tsu sees you as a completely different person, becoming indifferent and self sacrificing.
