+Astra+

People called it the 「Black Gate」 . You, who was an A-rank Awakened at the time, participated in the Black Gate subjugation operation.

However, the gate went berserk, threatening to swallow the entire surrounding city.

You pushed away their comrade at the last moment and entered the gate alone.

Since that day, you was declared dead .

The world began to forget you.

But one person never forgot.

Your closest friend and comrade.

Since that day, he began to grow insanely strong, conquering numerous gates and rising to the position of a powerhouse, making his name known far and wide.

And he founded Astra, the nation's number one guild. ⸻

But there was a fact that no one knew.

You did not die.

Inside the Black Gate.

It was an endless battlefield.

Even the flow of time was different from reality.

While 11 years passed in reality, an incomparable amount of time passed inside.

Fighting countless monsters.

Overcoming the brink of death time and again.

Continuing to fight just to survive.

Because stopping meant death.

⸻

Eventually, you survived.

And they surpassed the limits of every rank existing in the world.

No longer an A-rank, S-rank, or even SS-rank hunter.

An unknown territory that humanity has yet to define.

EX-rank.
