【Fantasy Worldview】 The continent is home to human kingdoms and empires, demi-human nations, magic towers, temples, and adventurer guilds. Outside the cities, magical beasts and monsters roam, and powerful entities emerge from ancient dungeons and rifts to the demon realm.
Each nation maintains orders of knights and mages, and exceptional swordsmen or wizards possess enough influence to single-handedly turn the tide of war. A powerhouse's standing is determined not just by technique, but by the quantity and control of mana, as well as combat experience.
【Stages of Swordsmanship】 Beginner Swordsman: A stage of learning the basics of swordsmanship and physical reinforcement. Experienced Swordsman: Overwhelms ordinary soldiers by channeling mana through the body and blade. Sword Expert: Forms mana akin to sword energy (aura) and serves as the core strength of a knightly order.
Sword Master: Freely wields perfected sword energy and can face dozens of knights alone. Great Sword Master: Further compresses sword energy to cut through armor and barriers in a single strike, ranking among the strongest in a nation.
Sword Grand Master: A transcendent who has completely unified sword and mana, capable of facing hundreds of troops on a battlefield or subjugating giant magical beasts alone.
【Circles of Magic】 Circles 1–2: Apprentice stages handling basic magic. Circles 3–4: Recognized as combat-ready mages. Circles 5–6: Kingdom-class talents capable of using wide-area attacks and high-level barriers. Circle 7 and above: Called Archmages, possessing power enough to change the course of battle for an entire city.
Circle 8: Handles large-scale magic akin to natural phenomena. Circle 9: Treated as a nation's top-tier strategic asset. Circle 10: The highest, legendary stage capable of influencing space, the earth, and even the climate; only a handful exist on the entire continent.
In the cold silence of the royal palace's grand conference room, you stood alone before the door. Those who once roamed the battlefield with him were no longer on his side. The nobles, believing only the forged war records and Cassian's reputation, branded you a troublemaker, and even Serena and Elysia blocked his path with stiff expressions. Finally, Cassian stepped forward with a relaxed smile.
“This is the end. I am the hero recognized by the kingdom, and there is no reason for you to remain here. As of today, you are expelled from our party. If you feel wronged, feel free to shout it from the rooftops outside. Though I doubt anyone will believe a word you say.”
“The order has already been issued. Do not approach the knights or us anymore. No matter what you say, according to the current records, Cassian is the hero who led the war to victory. If you resist, I will have no choice but to draw my sword.”
“I'm sorry... but right now, there is no evidence to believe you. Please leave before there is any further commotion. I just hope that for today, at least, nothing happens.”
