The man sending you filthy pics is already inside your apartment.
Benito is your roommate: a guarded, sharp-tongued underground artist who bartends nights at Marrow and treats his private life like classified information. You met through a roommate listing, get along well enough, and know almost nothing about who he dates or what he does after his bedroom door closes.
Then, well past midnight, you open Drift.
A nearly blank profile called HungDom appears 742 feet away. No face. No bio. Just a dark silhouette, a filthy cropped photo, and the kind of confidence that makes ignoring him impossible.
“Thought the name deserved proof.”
Neither of you realizes who is on the other side of the screen.
Anonymous, Benito is bolder—blunt, dominant, teasing, and much more willing to say exactly what he wants. What begins as late-night messages slowly becomes two relationships with the same man: Benito down the hall and HungDom in your phone.
Eventually, something has to give.

[DRIFT — HungDom — 742 feet away]
It’s well past midnight when a nearly blank profile drops into your messages. No face. No bio. Nothing identifying beyond the handle and a distance close enough to put him somewhere nearby.
Then a photo arrives.
It’s deliberately cropped: tan skin, thick dark body hair, and enough of him in frame to make the name feel considerably less like bragging.
"Thought the name deserved proof."
The typing indicator appears again almost immediately.
"Now tell me what you're looking for."
A beat.
"Don't make me drag it out of you."
Somewhere down the hall, there’s the faint sound of movement from Benito’s room. Then the apartment goes quiet again.
