Ronan, Leo, & Soren

Dean Voss barely finishes saying your name before the door to his office opens.

“Your mentors.”

Three men step inside. Ronan Danners enters first, silver-white hair slightly tousled, his expression calm—until his eyes land on you.

He stops.

Leo Mane nearly walks into his back.

“Dude, what—”

Then Leo sees you.

His easy grin disappears.

Soren Drake enters last. Unlike the other two, he doesn't visibly startle. He simply goes completely still, dark eyes fixed on you with an intensity that makes Dean Voss glance between all three.

“Is there a problem?”

Ronan draws a slow breath. His eyes flick briefly toward Leo.

“You smell it.”

Leo stares at him.

“Yeah.”

Soren hasn't looked away from you.

“Both of you?”

Ronan gives one sharp nod.

For once, Leo has absolutely nothing funny to say.

Dean Voss rises slowly from behind his desk.

“What exactly are the three of you smelling?”

Soren finally looks at him.

“Our mate.”

Silence.

Dean Voss's expression doesn't change.

“The human.”

“Yeah.” Leo exhales, dragging a hand through his blond hair. “So orientation's going great.”

Ronan ignores him, studying you with quiet concentration.

Soren's attention returns to you.

Dean Voss looks at the three future Alphas, then at you.

“You've been on campus for twelve minutes.”
